Our philosophy at Bear Essentials Fitness is simple we're taking it back to the playground! Think back to when you were a kid on the playground or simply watch some children playing at the playground today. Would you consider it playing or exercise? In our opinion, it's both. What is the difference between the two? Playing is always fun and exercise is often not. Our goal is to put the fun factor back into exercise. How do we do this? We do it by staying away from the traditional boring equipment and movements seen in many fitness facilities. We have done our best to create an adult playground where many of our movements will mimic those of the earlier days when we were jumping, squatting, crawling, climbing, and pushing our way around the playground. The best part of this is the fact that we are a private facility so if you like the one on one setting or the group atmosphere we have various options for you to choose from. So come in and join us and enjoy the energy, the fun, and most importantly the results our unique atmosphere and fitness protocols will bring to you!
Individual Training

Our 1 on 1 program is specifically designed for the client. We don't have any type of generic protocol that we use for all of our clients that many other places do. We literally sit our clients down ask them what their goals and interests are and design a fitness program specific to what they tell us. This allows you to have some say in your program. No specific interests? No problem. We will design a program that you will be sure to love. We have designed our own functional movement assessment which is free of charge your first visit. This allows us to identify specific imbalances and problem areas you may have and incorporate the appropriate corrective exercises to help put you back in balance.
30 Minute Power Session

This is a great option for those of you who like to train at your lunch break or just simply don't have time for a whole hour of training. We can accommodate your schedule with a 30 minute session! These sessions will be high paced but we will get in the amount of work you need to make improvements without exhausting your system and leaving you feeling weak for the rest of the day.
Partner Training

Got a friend, husband, or wife that you like to workout with? If so, this is the perfect option for you. Don't worry if you aren't in the same shape as each other. There are many different progressions of exercises so you can essentially do the same workout just at different levels.
Group Training

Gather up a group of friends and let us design a custom program for you. You let us know what your interests/hobbies are and we will do our best to accommodate. We like to do this because it gives the clients a say in their routines and ensures more interest and fun from the start.
Classes

Basic Striking (Boxing/Thai boxing)

Instructors: Justin, Paul & Matt

Class Times: 5:30pm Mondays


 This class is designed for those interested in learning how to throw basic strikes while getting a great cardiovascular and muscle endurance workout. As with all classes you don't have to be an athlete or in great shape, anyone interested is welcome at any of our classes. WARNING: This is not a normal cardio kickboxing class! You will get the benefits of the cardio but you will actually learn how to throw proper strikes!
Kettlebell Seminars

Instructors: Justin

Class Times:  By appointment Only



If you haven't heard about or used kettlebells yet, you will! This is a great chance to learn how to incorporate kettlebells into your normal routine and do so by learning proper techniques and an encyclopedia full of exercises for you to choose from.
Female Combat Cardio

Instructors: Nate, Justin & Matt

Class Times:  Saturday @ 8:30am


This class is a circuit style strength training class that incorporates some striking to keep the cardiovascular benefits high. This is a great overall workout and will make you very well rounded when it comes to fitness.
If you are interested in any of our classes please contact us to reserve a spot. Anyone is welcome to come but we do have limited space in some of the classes, this is to make sure everyone who shows gets the most out of the training. If any class interests you but the time doesn't fit your schedule please contact us. If you can get a group of people together we can reserve a time to run the class for you. If you have a group of people and would like a class with different curriculum, let us know and we will do our best to design a class for you.
